Friday March 27, 2020
10:00 – 11:30
History of Science Museum, Oxford City Centre
Explore planets in our Solar System. Learn about orreries (mechanical models of the Solar System) and see one in action. Meet some famous astronomers from the past and search the galleries for instruments and objects once used to explore space.
Though this event is aimed at KS2, siblings who are not yet 7 are welcome, but must be paid for as the museum has limited space; babes in arms are the only exception. There are 10 spaces for adult chaperones. Please let us know if you need to be/ would like to be one of them. A DBS checked chaperone will be available for parents who need to drop children off.
We will need a minimum of 13 children booked on to this session by the end of February for this to go ahead. You will be refunded if the session does not take place.
