Freelearner’s is opening the waiting list for their latest service Peer Projects Learning Community.
This is a termly run opportunity for children aged 5 to 14 to work in small peer groups pursuing a curriculum of self-directed projects with adult supervision and guidance.
This will take place twice a week throughout term time in the inspiring surroundings of Hogacre Common. Participants will have access to an indoor learning space, quiet room, fully equipped kitchen, forest school area, open field, orchard, allotments and Wild Wallow.
This is a fully risk assessed project, with Covid-19 policy in place. We have full insurance, all adult supervisors have enhanced DBS checks.
This is an ideal project for young people who would like to attend a regular educational activity whilst developing strong relationships within a peer group, who like to work in small groups, who enjoy hands on challenges and would benefit from a little bit of time away from their usual learning provider.
