Week 12 / Term 1 / Year 4
We threw out our usual structure to the day and just got down to the important things; food, presents and fun!
For presents, our peers spent a ten pounds budget (and some of their parents money and donations!!) on useful and fun items for Christmas boxes to go to local people in Oxford who are having a hard time at the moment. Our peers really did embody the joy of giving taking pains to pack the boxes nicely, itemize them so the right box could be matched to the right person and then decorated them so they looked really inviting. Below are examples of what has been sent.
Christmas dinner was a massive success. Mmmmm! Just see for yourself
We have the best mentors ever, because kid you not, this is the state of the kitchen when all the food came out and was ready to serve.
After we were fed, we made birds feed pinecones, so our feathered friends could share in the joy.
And of course peanut butter isn’t only good for feeding birds…
So there we go, last Peers Projects day of 2023. We really hope to see you at our winter family celebration next Monday for some festive fun and a chance to have a look at how things are progressing. If we don’t see you then we wish you the best Christmas and a very happy new year.
